Dear Is and Are,

You is d’man and you also are.

It’s been too long apart

That you’ve been far.

I don’t really mind your P’s and Q’s

Nor your understated is’s

I like you just the way you is and are.

So take me with a grain of sand

But take me as I am and

I would love to take you as you are.

No adjectives or flowery words

Nor explanations bout the bees and birds

You is d’man and I loves you

Just the way you is and are.
